Why Use a Green Screen When Making Videos

The question of using a green screen has been asked a lot this year. I think it has something to do with more people using Zoom and there is an option that says "I have a green screen" when using a virtual background. You might have seen behind the scenes footage from movies and TV show and you've seen the actors in front of a green background, sometimes it is blue, I explain the difference in this video. Using a green screen allows you to superimpose the presenter or actor wherever you want. They could be in front of a particular location or in front of a diagram. This is how they do the weather when you see it on the news. A green screen done well can look very realistic. Some other advantages include not having access when you need it to somewhere, so you can shoot it without the person in it and add it later. It might not be safe and during the pandemic where we have been concerned about social distancing it can make filming safer. DoubleTake by Filmic Pro - Record with two cameras at the same time on your iPhone

DoubleTake is a great app if you are in to filmmaking. You can use two cameras at the same time on your iPhone to record with two different cameras. That means you can film with your front and back camera at the same time, useful for a lot of things including interviews. If you have more than one camera on the back you can use two of these so you get two angles at the same time. Why not record a wide and telephoto version at the same time. This works on the iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 12 and iPhone 13. This is useful for teaching, recording concerts, performances and more. With the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max you can now record in ProRes. By the way, I used the Rode Wireless Go II microphone when recording outside. What is useful is that it records on to the microphone so I didn't need to plug it into the iPhone, although I could have it would have unbalanced the gimbal. However, even if plugged into the iPhone or camera it is a useful backup. Link below if you are interested.
