If you want to know where something ranks in a list in Excel then there are three useful functions. RANK, RANK.EQ and RANK,AVG. RANK was used in older versions but still compatible with newer versions. RANK.EQ seems to be the same but there is also one called RANK.AVG which gives a slightly different result if there are two things with the same ranking.
