Microsoft Access has a number of different types of queries, the select query allows you to view data based on criteries. Action queries actually do something like delete data, append data or update date. Here we are looking at the make table query. This creates a new table from criteria you set. It copies the data into the new table which is useful for archiving or creating a smaller dataset making data more manageable.
As always make sure you have a backup of your data before making any changes to your data.
